On 21/02/ 2017 Product Shipping and Trading was awarded at its premises a Certificate of Commendation by the Republic of the Marshall Islands for the outstanding seamanship the Captain, Officers and Crew of M/T Okyroe demonstrated during rescue operation at approximately 20 nautical miles off the Libyan coast. In cooperation with the Italian coast guard, 1536 men, women and children were rescued from rubber boats and safely brought on board. Well done to our Captain, Officers and Crew!
